🎨 Classic Gel Prints Workshop

The Brownwood Art Center is hosting a fun and creative Classic Gel Prints workshop on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Led by instructor Joy Ferguson, this hands-on class invites participants to create their own unique gel prints on card stock, bookmarks, and other artworks. Students will explore mixed media techniques and enjoy the exciting process of making colorful, one-of-a-kind mono prints using gel plates.


πŸ–ŒοΈ Creative Fun & Mixed Media at the Art Center

This beginner-friendly workshop is perfect for anyone who loves art, crafting, or trying something new. Held at the welcoming Brownwood Art Center (215 Fisk Avenue, Brownwood, TX 76801), the class provides a relaxed, supportive environment where participants can experiment with color, pattern, and texture while connecting with other local creatives. It’s a great opportunity to learn a versatile printmaking technique that can be used for cards, gifts, journals, and more.

Tuition:

  • $40 for Brownwood Art Association (BAA) Members
  • $45 for Non-Members

Students must bring:

  • 1 gel plate
  • 1 brayer
  • Acrylic paints
  • Felt pens and/or colored pens
