Join the excitement at Rex’s Texas Lanes in Brownwood for the Poor Boy Boy Open Tournament 2026, an Open Doubles bowling showdown happening Saturday, May 16th, and Sunday, May 17th! This USBC-sanctioned event welcomes all members to compete in qualifying squads on Saturday, with the top 16 teams advancing to a thrilling double-elimination bracket on Sunday. Side action will also be available Saturday for extra fun and competition.

Held at Rex’s Texas Lanes in Brownwood, TX, this tournament brings together bowlers of all levels for two days of strikes, spares, and good times. Saturday features three qualifying sessions (9 AM, 2 PM, and 7 PM) where teams bowl 6 games across 3 pairs of lanes to earn their spot in Sunday’s bracket. Expect a lively, supportive atmosphere with plenty of cheering, camaraderie, and that classic bowling alley vibe, perfect for teams looking to test their skills and have a great weekend.
